People: We care more about “how” people are doing than “what” people are doing. (Romans 12:10)
Next Generation: The next generation is not the church of tomorrow, but the church of today. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
Community: We love and serve the city where we live. (Jeremiah 29:7)
Teamwork: We are better than me. We work together. (John 17:21-23)
Growth: Growth happens one step at a time. We grow holistically. (Luke 2:52)
Generosity: We give because God has given everything to us. (Luke 6:38)
Gospel-Centered: The gospel doesn’t just save us; it shapes us, strengthens us, and guides us. (Romans 12:1-2)
GOD
That God is the eternal Creator of the universe, existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20)
BIBLE
That the Bible is God's written revelation to man; that it consists of inspired documents, infallible and God-breathed. That the Bible is the divinely authoritative standard by which Christians live.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
JESUS
That Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood at His sacrificial death on the cross (1 Peter 2:24).
RETURN OF JESUS
That Jesus will return with power to receive His church, which is His body. (Matthew 24; John 14:1-3)
HOLY SPIRIT
That the Holy Spirit is God's current agent in the world to convict men of sin, and to provide spiritual gifts to His church in order to build up the body. (John 16:7-11; Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
SIN
That man was created in the image and likeness of God, but by nature and choice, is sinful. That man, because of his personal sin, needs to be made whole and restored to fellowship with God through the redemption that has been accomplished by Jesus Christ.
(Romans 3:23-24)
SALVATION
That redemption is according to the grace of God, and available to all who respond in faith by repentance, public profession of Jesus as Savior, and immersion into Christ.
(John 3:16; Acts 2:37-38)
GENDER IDENTITY
From the beginning, God created two separate and distinct biological sexes: male and female. Moreover, Scripture does not permit any difference between biological sex and gender identity or expression. Humankind has been created by God, and any attempt to misconstrue the difference between male/female and/or biological sex/gender identity is an attempt to self-create and is a result of sin and the fall. We also acknowledge that there are rare instances where people are born with an indiscriminate biological sex. (Gen. 1:26-27; Matt. 19:4; Mark 10:6-7; Psalm 139:14).
MARRIAGE
God has ordained marriage and defined it as a covenant relationship between one man, one woman, and himself. Hence, God’s plan for marriage sexuality is between a biological man and a biological woman in a covenant marriage. (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4; Eph. 5:25; 1 Pet. 3:7).
HUMAN LIFE
God values life from the womb to the tomb. All human life is valuable and sacred, and that human life and full personhood begins at conception and continues until death. As stewards of life, we are endowed by God with the responsibility to protect the worth and dignity of human beings from the moment of conception until the moment of death. (Gen. 1:26-27; Job 31:15; Ps. 22:10; Ps. 127:3-5; Ps. 139:13-16; Jer. 1:5; Acts 17:25).
